Mango Pie

TweetPinShareYummly

A very simple mango pie recipe but you will be amazed that this is delicious! The ingredients are also not hard to find and you can easily buy then in supermarkets. But the only ingredient that needs to be in season is the mango. Mangoes are usually sweet in the summer months and they are cheaper because mango trees bear their fruits in the summer.

I love your recipes but I notice that several of them contain gelatin which isn’t vegetarian (it’s made from things like skin, bones and connective tissues). I’m not sure if you were aware of this, but perhaps you could specify using vegetarian gelatin alternatives such as these http://www.peta.org/living/vegetarian-living/gelatin-alternatives.aspx

@Jo actually the common ingredient of gelatin is agar-agar.

i wouldn’t add heat to a mango esp. when using Filipino Mango, it just kills the aroma and taste.
