Filipino Vegetarian Recipe Site Under Renovation

TweetPinShareYummly

Hello again and thanks for visiting this site. Have you noticed the new look of this site? if you are a frequent visitor or have visited this site before, you will definitely notice the change. I’m in the process of migrating the old site from static HTML to a WordPress platform but having the functionality of a CMS (Content Management System) which I already planned to do in the past but was thinking of the best platform to use. In fact I already started to create a CMS version of this site using Joomla last year but failed to do it because there are many restrictions and limitations. First is Joomla loads very slow which uses too much computer resources so I terminate the project. Another thing is I can’t create the exact URL from the old site which is needed so it will not affect the search engine ranking.

The solution I found is to use WordPress. I discovered the versatility of this platform not only in blogging but also on creating a CMS website. The migration was not done in an instant but by a certain amount of page a day so you might see other old pages still on this site. The progress was continuous so I might finish the migration in a few months. Again I’m hoping the change will please you more on the look of this site and the navigation. One obvious change was the ability to print the recipes on a simple page without the graphics so it won’t waste your printer ink. Also I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to submit your recipe so you can share it to the everyone.

      @Daniel Brewster
      Have you tried Amazon.com? I also haven’t seen a Filipino vegetarian cookbook. I only see Filipino vegetarian recipes included in most Filipino recipe cookbooks.
