This is a recipe on how to make papaya jelly. Making jelly helps in conserving fruits that are usually thrown away if they become over ripe or already decaying. Aside from preserving the papaya by turning it into papaya jelly, it can also be a filling for cakes.
8 ripe papaya
2 cups water
2 tablespoons kalamansi juice
1 tablespoon citric acid
How to make papaya jelly:
- Combine 8 cups of ripe papaya and 2 cups water, 2 tablespoons kalamansi juice and 1 tablespoon citric acid.
- Boil for 15 minutes. Pour into sterilized glass jars.
