1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 pc papaya, medium sized(about 1/2kg), half ripe (manibalang), cubed
1 & 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp lemon rind
1 pc cinnamon stick
1 can all-purpose cream
How to Make Papaya Delight:
- Boil water and sugar until dissolved. Add papaya, lemon juice, lemon rind and cinnamon stick.
- Cook an wait till papaya turns fork-tender. Transfer papaya to dessert plates after removing from the syrup.
- Boil syrup continuously until the original quantity is decreased by half. Pour syrup over papaya. Chill. Serve with cream on top.
