2 cups gluten, cut in serving pieces
1 onion, sliced
2 cups green papaya, cut in 2-inch lengths
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 tablespoon oil
1-inch cube ginger, crushed
Sili (pepper) leaves
How to cook Gluten Tinola:
- Fry the garlic, onion, ginger, then the gluten. Add enough water.
- When mixture starts to boil, add the papaya and cook until soft but not mushy.
- Season with salt. Add sili leaves before removing from fire. Yield: 4 servings.
