1 cup fine bread crumbs
1 cup finely chopped cashew nuts
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup finely chopped raisins
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
(to dredge the nuts and raisins)
How to make Holiday Dessert
- Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored.
- Add sugar gradually, continuously beating until very thick.
- Gently fold in the rest of the ingredients. Bake at 350 °F until done.
- Serve with cream or ice cream. Yield: 8 servings.
