Holiday Dessert

Ingredients:

6 eggs
1  cup fine bread crumbs
1  cup finely chopped cashew nuts
1  teaspoon baking powder
1  cup brown sugar
1  cup finely chopped raisins
6  tablespoons all-purpose flour
(to dredge the nuts and raisins)

How to make Holiday Dessert

  • Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored.
  • Add sugar gradually, continuously beating until very thick.
  • Gently fold in the rest of the ingredients. Bake at 350 °F until done.
  • Serve with cream or ice cream. Yield: 8 servings.
