Kalamansi Cake Pie

A very simple and low cost citrus pie you can make. Cheaper than making lemon pie because you are going to us kalamansi instead of lemon. Ingredients are also simple and easy to find in your pantry or even on a small grocery store. Perfect as a dessert or snack and it’s a healthy pie too. On making the crust, you can use Graham cracker crumb crust.

To make kalamansi cake pie; Mix sugar and butter. Add yolks of eggs beaten well. Add kalamansi juice, flour, milk and stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake at 350 °F in an unbaked pie crust for 30 minutes. To see the complete recipe with lists of ingredients in exact measurements, continue reading.

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 pieces medium kalamansi
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pc unbaked pie crust.
