An easy to prepare exotic custard made from durian jam, glazed pili nuts, honey and sweet dough. Durian fruit and pili nuts is only found in tropical countries like the Philippines and this cake is a creative way of using indigenous ingredients to create a custard like this one.

280 gms durian jam
1 liter fresh cream
300 gms glazed pili nuts
250 gms honey
70 gms powdered sugar
How to make Durian Custard And Glazed Pili Nut Cake
- Mix eggs and powdered sugar thoroughly then add honey, fresh cream and pureed durian jam.
- Pour in cake rings lined with sweet dough and bake at 180°C for 45 minutes.
- When cool, arrange glazed pili nuts on top and garnish with whipped cream.
- Good for 28″ cake rings.
