This bread pudding version is almost the same as the ordinary bread pudding with the addition of cinnamon and eggs. Great for snacks or desserts if you are looking for a an economical way of cooking desserts.
Bread Pudding with Cinnamon
- 2 cups hot milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups cubed bread
- 2 eggs well beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
How to make Bread Pudding With Cinnamon:
- Add hot milk to bread, butter and sugar. Allow to stand until cold.
- Add remaining ingredients; mix lightly.
- Bake in buttered casserole at 350 °F for about 60 minutes.
- Yield: 6 servings.
