Nata-Mango Pie

Want to eat or serve a unique tropical inspired pie? This recipes I have here is baked pie with mango and nata de coco filling. Very simple to prepare and ingredients are easy to find in your local grocery stores.

To make nata-mango pie; Prebake regular pie crust. Drain bottled nata de coco. Peel mangoes and slice lengthwise, making four to five strips (about 3 to 5 mm thick) and cut remaining mango pulp into cubes. Mix sliced mango with light syrup. Set aside. Combine remaining ingredients then pour over prebaked crust. Arrange mango strips on crust. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Ingredients
  

  • 1 pc pie crust base 9" shell with fluted edge
  • 1/4 cup light syrup 2 Tbsp. sugar + 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2-3 pcs ripe mangoes
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla oil
  • 1 cup sweetened nata de coco
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/4 granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour

Instructions
 

How to make Nata-Mango Pie:

  • Prebake regular pie crust. Drain bottled nata de coco.
