An easy way to make sweet and creamy custard pies. Ingredients are so simple and all you need to find or make aside from the raw ingredients is the pie shell.

To cook custard pie; Combine first 6 ingredients; mix well. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 450 °F for 10 minutes then at 325 °F for 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. To see the complete recipe with lists of ingredients in exact measurements, continue reading.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 eggs beaten slightly
  • 2 1/2 cups hot milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 9- inch unbaked pie shell
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions
 

How to cook Custard Pie:

  • Combine first 6 ingredients; mix well. Pour into pie shell.
  • Bake at 450 °F for 10 minutes then at 325 °F for 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  • Yield: one 9-inch pie for 6 servings.
