Coleslaw with Oil and Vinegar Dressing


Unlike the usual coleslaw that has a mayonnaise based dressing, this coleslaw is tossed with a salad oil and vinegar dressing. To make coleslaw with oil and vinegar dressing; Arrange cabbage and onions in a serving bowl. Combine sugar, vinegar, salad oil, mustard, celery seed, salt, and  MSG until well-blended. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.   • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 3/4 cup salad oil
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of MSG
