Ingredients
  

  • 3 eggs beaten slightly
  • 2 1/2 cups hot milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 9- inch unbaked pie shell
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions
 

How to cook Custard Pie:

  • Combine first 6 ingredients; mix well. Pour into pie shell.
  • Bake at 450 °F for 10 minutes then at 325 °F for 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  • Yield: one 9-inch pie for 6 servings.
