Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar divided
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 whole egg
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk

Instructions
 

  • How to make Peanut Butter Cup Cakes:
  • Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream margarine.
  • Add 1 cup brown sugar gradually until fluffy.
  • Add vanilla and peanut butter then mix thoroughly.
  • Beat egg and add remaining sugar.
  • Combine with creamed butter mixture and blend well.
  • Add dry ingredients alternatively with milk in small portions.
  • Beat well after each addition.
  • Then pour mixture into muffin pans lined with fluted paper cups.
  • Bake at 350 °F for 25 - 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the cupcake comes out clean.
